You’ll notice things look a little different today on this, the digital window to the wee homestead.
Jenn and I have been humbled by the tremendous response to The Dew Abides since we launched it just 8 months ago. We’re getting thousands of readers a month from all parts of the globe — and that’s been both surprising to and wonderful for us. We’ve moved to TheDewAbides.com to make it easier for people to find us and share us. And we’ve designed the webpage to showcase some of the cool photos we’ve been taking, make it easier for you to quickly find a post you’re interested in, and more adeptly point you to something else related you might also like.
There’s a link at the bottom of the page to find/follow us on Facebook if you choose, so we’ll stop nagging you in every post now. And at the bottom of each tale, you can easily share what you’ve read on The Facebook, The Twitters, The Pinterests and The Google+. You know what to do.
Still working out a few kinks here and there, so if you see any formatting issues in the old posts, don’t despair. We’ll kick ’em all into shape soon.
Some thanks are in order:
Thanks to Daniel Severns for much technical help, web hosting and the needed kicking in the pants. His Columbus Creative group is doing some killer stuff. Thanks to Brian Valentine, whose wonderful dewdrop photo has become the little yellow icon you see here and there around the site. (For that matter, thanks to all creative commons partners whose work we’ve occasionally used, abused and bent to our own evil intentions.)
But most of all thanks to you, for reading.
