I know, I know. This has nothing to do with homesteading.
But our two eagles have returned for a second winter, hunting behind the house from a bare tree overlooking the Chattahoochee River. Coming home this afternoon, I had just put down my bags when an unmistakable cry made me jump — I ran outside in time to capture the juvenile calling to its mother.
After a stressful day cooped up inside, this was all I needed to reset the calm button. Hope it does the same for you.
