Hoping to reduce our holiday stress, hubby and I chose not to put up a Christmas tree this year. but we still hung stockings on the fireplace, wreaths on the doors, and holiday cards in the den. And, honestly, our home felt just as festive without all the hullabaloo.
Except for one little thing. There’s nothing like the scent of fresh greenery in the house, so I picked up a rosemary topiary to act as our surrogate tree.
After a month in an indoor container, you can tell it wants to be free, so I planted it in the front yard this morning to enjoy a bit of Christmas cheer all year long. Now I need to find some parsley, sage, and thyme to keep it company.
