If you can ‘dish it

There aren’t many veggies in this world with which I have quarrel. The short list:

  • Celery is a weed that should be eradicated from the earth.
  • Kohlrabi and I have finally reached detente, thanks to this recipe.
  • Radish? Meh.

But radish might soon be up for de-listing, thanks to this bowl-of-butter-and-cream-cheese-masquerading-as-dip recommended by our cute-as-pie farmers.

Hubby and I like our food a little more pungent than most, so in lieu of seasoned salt, I added 1/2 teaspoon turmeric, 1/2 teaspoon paprika, 1/4 teaspoon sea salt, and 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder.

And — can’t believe I’m saying this — next time I’ll use more minced radish too. It adds such a flavorful crunch.
