One of the things we’re always worried about here at The Dew Abides is sounding too preachy. Or like we don’t make mistakes, or that we always know what we’re talking about. … Wait, is that three things?
I think that’s why the movie “Cool It” appeals to me. If Al Gore’s 1996 film, “An Inconvenient Truth,” was a little too smug, or holier-than-thou, or too scare-tacticy, “Cool It” seems to inject a needed course correction — yet one with ultimately the same agenda. It stars Bjorn Lomborg, is based on his book of the same name, and is this week’s selection for our Monday Night at the Movies.
